New version release. See what’s new in Bookly PRO 4.7.

In today’s update, Bookly rolls out a new option available for extending your active support period, the ability to create custom fields for backend entries, automatic update of the appointment status once it’s over, visible service price for appointments created via the Bookly admin panel, and more.

Here’s a list of all new features and improvements in the new Bookly PRO version 4.7.

Customer support from Bookly

If you recharge your Bookly Cloud account with one of the standard amounts, you’ll be able to receive technical support from the Bookly team as long as your support period is active. This term depends on the selected amount and is extended automatically after each balance replenishment.

Internal custom fields

Now you can create custom fields for internal use only. These fields are not visible to your customers on the frontend booking form, but you’ll be able to use them in the backend and add private records to the appointment details.

If you want to hide some custom field, click on the ‘eye’ icon to toggle its visibility.

Automatic update of the appointment status

This feature allows to automatically change the initial appointment status to another one once it is over. To enable this option, go to the Settings > Appointments > Automatically change status of appointment.

If you have installed and activated the Bookly Custom Statuses (Add-on), you’ll have more freedom, because you’ll be able to use all your custom statuses along with the regular ones.

Service price for appointments booked via backend

Now the service price is displayed in the New appointment window when you click on the Attach payment button. You can edit it if necessary. Note that the price value is taken from the Staff members > Edit staff > Services.

Other features and improvements in this release:

• New values for Time slot length and Padding time: 2 min, 4 min;
• New code for notifications: {client_full_birthday};
• New warning message in backend when the selected period is occupied by another appointment with the ability to view the existing appointment right away;
• Better page loading speed in Bookly Calendar and improved highlighting of active element in the booking form.
