New version release. See what’s new in Bookly PRO 4.2.

In this new update, we’ve added new features, fixed errors, and generally made some improvements to make your Bookly experience better.

Here’s the list of the most important updates included in Bookly PRO v.4.2.

Email logs

Emails logs will allow you to see the list of all email notifications that were sent for reservations made via Bookly. This feature is optional and can be enabled in Email Notifications > Settings > Email logs.

New types of custom fields

In Bookly Custom Fields (Add-on), we’ve added 3 new types of custom fields:

• Date Field – allows to create a field for date selection;
• Time Field – allows to create a field for time selection;
• Numeric Field – allows to create a field for entering numeric values.

Once created, each of these fields will have an additional Use limit values checkbox to let you set min and max values of a range.

Ability to display staff info in the booking form

In the Appearance > Service tab, check the box next to the Show staff info option and you’ll be able to use the {staff_info} code in the booking form at any step.

Ability to set a date range for special days

In Bookly Special Days (Add-on), we’ve added a date range picker, so now you can quickly add several days or weeks to the staff schedule that will be different from the default working hours.

Ability to display and export internal note in Appointments section

Now the Internal note column can be included in the Appointments table and exported to CSV.

Minor changes and improvements include the following:

– Now you can see a staff member color in the list of employees, in the same way as in the Services section;
– Default appointment status and Cancel appointment action settings are now located in Settings > Appointments;
– Ability to use {cancel_appointment} and {cancel_appointment_url} codes in Google Calendar/Outlook Calendar Template for event description;
– Ability to use {appointment_end_date} and {appointment_end_time} codes in WooCommerce cart description;
– Improved German translation;
– Better warning when the admin is trying to book an unavailable time slot via backend.
